Vladimir Baykov

Young Russian bass Vladimir Baykov has won top prizes in the The Mirjam Helin International Singing Competition, Belevdere International Hans Gabor Singing Competition Vienna 2001, Maria Callas International Singing Competition and many others. Mr. Baykov’s smooth range and pristine vocal technique have been praised in roles such as Leporello (Don Giovanni), Don Alfonso (Così fan tutte), Salieri (Mozart and Salieri), Gremin (Eugene Onegin) and in the title role of Boris Godunov. Mr. Baykov currently resides in the idyllic St. Gallen, Switzerland, where he performs regularly as a Fest Soloist.
