At only 34 years of age, Mr. Amonov has already worked with such conductors as Valery Gergiev, Gennady Rozhdestvensky, Nikolai Nekrasov, Vladimir Fedoseyev, Arnold Katz, Mark Ermler and Fuat Mansurov.

Mr. Amonov has toured to China, Korea, Canada, Germany, the Netherlands (Concertgebouw), Finland (Mikkeli Festival), Denmark, Australia, France and the UK (Albert Hall, London).

June 2007, Mr. Amonov sang Don Carlos “Don Carlos” at the Mariinsky Theatre with Olga Guryakova, Ekaterina Gubanova, Vassily Gerello, and René Pape and conducted by Maestro Valery Gergiev.

In July 17, 2007, Mr. Amonov debuted as Siegmund “Die Walküre” with the Mariinsky Theatre at the Metropolitan Opera. In December 2007, we will make his debut as “Otello” with Maestro Gergiev and the Mariinsky at Kennedy Center, Washington DC. In January 2008, Mr. Amonov will sing Promastaras with Greek National Opera. 

In September 2008, Mr. Amonov will sing Manrico “Il Trovatore” with Minnesota Opera.  Future engagements also include Bari, Italy “Aida” and Vaudemont “Iolanta” with Kentucky Opera.

Mr. Amonov will sing the role of Dmitry “Brothers Karamatstov” with Maestro Valery Gergiev and the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra this coming September. This concert performance will be recorded for a CD release in 2009.

Mr. Amonov is currently singing Radames “Aida” with Greek National Opera and in the future will sing Manrico “Il Trovatore” and the Prince “Rusalka” with Opera Colorado.

Repertoire

Concert repertoire includes: Verdi´s Requiem, Mahler´s Eighth Symphony, Beethoven´s Ninth Symphony, Dubois´ Requiem and Rossini´s the Petite Messe solennelle.
