Ekaterina Markova

24 year-old Ekaterina Markova is currently a graduate level student at renowned Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow.   Her repertoire includes arias and romances by Russian and foreign composers and operatic roles: Marfa (R-Korsakov “The Tsar bride”), Snow Maiden (R-Korsakov “Snow Maiden”), Musetta (Puccini “La Boheme”), et al.  

Ms. Markova has appeared in the following voice competitions:

IV International competition of opera singers “St-Petersburg” (St-Petersburg, 2009); I All-Russian Music competition (Moscow, 2010);

She is a winner of the 1^st prize of the IV International Competition of chamber singing named in honor of G.Sviridov (Russia,Kursk, 2011).
